Our client has made some amendments to the proposal following a value engineering exercise, which has resulted in a reduced scheme overall, yet still maintaining the quality of external materials. The main changes that have been made are a product of reducing the scale of demolition to the original house and omitting the loft. Please find attached the updated drawings incorporating the following changes to the scheme; 1) we have omitted dormer and loft space resulting in a reduced overall sqm. 2) changes to the elevational treatment, with brick slips at lower level and grey render above, we will submit specification details in due course 3) we have changed the overall internal layout which has resulted in a number of changes to the elevations these include; - updates the window sizes on the side elevation to increase the quality of daylight within the circulation - front entrance location to the house is to be retained - domers omitted 4) the current approved rear extension is at 3.5m
