As part of next month’s Tall Ships Regatta, local musicians and performers of all ages and experience, are invited to take part in the 'Parade of Song', which will take place on both sides of the Mersey as we wave farewell to the magnificent vessels and their crews on Monday 28 May from 11.00am – 2.30pm.
The Parade of Song is a mass participation event that will see local musicians and performers coming together along the length of the promenade from Seacombe to New Brighton and on the Liverpool Waterfront.
So whether you are part of a brass band, a choir, a street performer, hula-hooper, busker, dancer or a solo artist we want to hear from you!
What we’ll need to know:
- Name of your act
- Which Instruments / vocals / art form you would like to perform
- Playlist / programme
- How many members of your group would be performing
- Which side of the river you would like to perform
You must be over 16 years old if not participating as part of a supervised group, under 16yrs can still perform but must apply and attend as part of a supervised group e.g. Scouts, Cadets, Youth Orchestra, family group etc.
You will also need to be completely self-sufficient – i.e. we cannot provide power or technical support for your act.
