Three Wirral organisations were crowned winners or runners up at the Merseyside Independent Business Awards, held on 18 October at the Titanic Rum Warehouse.
Bromborough-based education consultancy Hi-Impact Agency walked away with the award for Best Creative Business on the night (for the third time!) while Wallasey mental health charity The Open Door Centre won the Community Impact Award.
Women’s charity Tomorrow’s Women Wirral, based in Birkenhead, were highly commended at the ceremony.
Cllr Angela Davies, Cabinet Member for Jobs and Growth, said:
“I’m thrilled to see Wirral organisations being recognised for their expertise, and I’d like to congratulate those who were shortlisted and won awards.
"With so many start-ups and long-standing companies achieving success in their fields, Wirral is showing the City Region that it’s a great place to do business.”
