Weekly Walk Programme

Birkenhead Park - every Monday, 11am, including Bank holidays. Meet at Birkenhead Park Visitor Centre for a choice of two walks: an easy or leisurely walk of 30 minutes or one hour and up to 2 miles.

Every Sunday, meet at Birkenhead Park Visitor Centre at 11am for faster walk of 60 minutes and up to 2 miles. An easy walk is also available.

Tuesday evenings at 7pm from May to September. Meet at Claughton Medical Centre, Park Road North. This walk will resume in May 2015. Contact 0151 652 5197 for more information.

Arrowe Park, 10.30-11.30am on Tuesdays. Meet at Red Rooms cafe, off Arrowe Park Road for either an easy walk of 1 mile or longer, faster walk of up to 3 miles. Contact 0151 652 5197 for more information.

Port Sunlight - every Wednesday, 11 am to 12noon, meet outside Port Sunlight railway station, near the bowling green. A medium length walk not suitable for beginners due to uneven pavements. Contact 0151 652 5197 for more information.

Royden Park - every Thursday, 2.30pm to 4pm, meet in the main car park. **Please note this is a more adventurous walk of up to 3miles and sturdy footwear is required**. Contact 0151 652 5197 for more information.

West Kirby - every Monday and Wednesday at 12 noon to 1pm. Meet at Wirral Sailing Centre, near Morrisons, West Kirby. Parking available at the Sailing Centre. Contact 0151 637 6434 for more information. The Monday walk is more demanding and up to 3 miles so not suitable for beginners. The Wednesday walk is up to 2 miles.

Tranmere walk in Victoria Park. Meet at Church Road entrance at 10.30-11.15 every Friday from 4th April. The easy walk is 20- 30 minutes with a longer option of 45 minutes and 1.5 miles.

Wallasey evening walk . Every Tuesday from May to September with easy and longer options. Meet at Grove Road Station. This walk will resume in May 2015.

Eastham walk at 1.30 to 2.30pm every Wednesday. Meet at visitor centre for a flat route on mixed paths with great views of the Mersey.

All walks are free - just turn up.
All children must be accompanied by an adult.
No dogs.
